Kumo Lumo is designed for serious workspace use, including commercial documents, drafts, image references and private planning. The product stores account workspace records to operate the service, continue user work across devices, process payments, secure accounts and provide support. Model requests still need to be transmitted to Poe and the selected model provider.
No sale of workspace content
Kumo Lumo does not sell user workspace content and does not use confidential prompts, files or generated outputs to build advertising profiles.
Necessary-context routing
When a model route is used, only the prompt, files and conversation context needed for that request are sent to the selected provider or the provider chosen by Kumo Agent.
Poe and model providers process requests
The prompt, supported attachments and conversation context needed for a request are transmitted to Poe and the selected model provider. Poe states that official full-shield model routes are not used by model providers for training. This statement does not remove provider-side retention: each provider sets its own retention period and privacy terms.

Kumo Lumo connects named provider routes from Poe's public API catalog and blocks model labels that are not available instead of silently substituting a different model. Users should still avoid sending unnecessary secrets or regulated identifiers to any AI service.

Conversation history
Text conversations can remain available in the account so users do not lose workspace history when changing devices. Users should treat saved chats as their private account workspace records, not public content.

Uploaded files, image references and generated media are short-lived assets. Kumo Lumo keeps these assets for 7 days so recent work can be reviewed or downloaded; after that, older file downloads may expire.

Kumo Lumo can help process confidential briefs, proposals, contracts and strategy notes as private workspace context. For sensitive commercial work, upload only the references needed for the task and remove unnecessary secrets before sending.
Highly private personal data
Kumo Lumo is not a substitute for regulated legal, medical, financial or identity compliance review. Avoid sending personal data you do not have permission to process, and redact identifiers that are not needed for the AI task.

Does Kumo Lumo train on my data?
Kumo Lumo does not use workspace content to train Kumo Lumo models. Request data is still processed by Poe and the selected provider. Poe states that official full-shield model routes are not used by model providers for training, while provider retention and privacy terms still apply.
Is request data retained by model providers?
It can be. Poe states that model providers set their own retention schedules. Kumo Lumo's 7-day asset policy applies to Kumo Lumo storage and must not be read as a zero-retention promise for Poe or an upstream model provider.
Does Kumo Lumo keep everything forever?
No. Text conversations can remain in the account for workspace continuity. Uploaded files, image references and generated media are short-lived assets retained for 7 days.
Is Kumo Lumo an opaque API relay?
No. Kumo Lumo is a workspace and routing layer: the app shows model routes, point estimates, usage records and provider availability instead of hiding those decisions.
